This is our standard service package. First, we wash it well without the use of harmful degreasers during this process in order to prevent seal damage and/or brake pad contamination (see Tune Up Level 2 for details on Drivetrain cleaning.) Wheels get removed for proper rim truing and spoke tensioning, brake rotors are trued and cleaned, sealant levels are checked, valve cores are inspected for old sealant build-up, hub bearings are adjusted and inspected for dryness/crunch, tires are checked for tread wear and weather damage, tire pressures are adjusted for rider weight, sidewalls and rims are polished, all bolts including linkage are checked for proper torque, derailleur limit screws and b-tension are properly set, pulley wheels are inspected, derailleur hanger alignment is checked, shift and dropper post cable tension is adjusted, headset bearing compression is properly set, chain is checked for stretch and lubricated, brake pads are resurfaced and cleaned, calipers are re-calibrated, bike is completely polished and suspension settings/pressures are adjusted upon pickup. We are efficient, communicate well and guarantee our work.

*Bike wash can be done as a stand alone service for $25

This package includes everything from a Level 1 Tune Up plus a full drivetrain overhaul.

For a drivetrain overhaul we remove the chain, cranks, bottom bracket, cassette, derailleur pulley wheels and the rear wheel freehub body for thorough cleaning and overhaul. We soak chains and cassettes in citrus bicycle degreaser to completely remove old chain lube/grease build-up, use special brushes to scrub away stubborn gunk from cassette cogs, disassemble/lubricate derailleur pulley wheels, clean derailleur cages, remove/clean cranks, scrub chainring teeth, remove bottom bracket bearings from frame, clean frame/BB interface, re-install BB to torque specs with anti-seize grease, and completely disassemble/clean/lubricate freehub body engagement system (the thing that makes the “buzzing” or “clicking” sound when you stop pedaling.)

*Drivetrain overhaul can be done as a stand alone service for $150.

This package includes everything from a Level 2 Tune Up plus full hydraulic brake services.

For a hydraulic brake we remove/resurface pads with fine grit sand paper, thoroughly clean and lightly grease every piston to ensure smooth retraction into the caliper body, fully flush old brake fluid out and introduce fresh de-gassed fluid into the system, purge excess bubbles out of the lever, inspect entire system for leaks, re-calibrate calipers, torque bolts, clean/true rotors and do multiple test descents on the steep hill next to the shop to ensure they work when heated up.

*Hydraulic brake services can be done as stand alone service for $100 per brake.

This package includes everything from a Level 3 Tune Up plus a dual suspension frame linkage overhaul.

For a dual suspension frame linkage overhaul we completely disassemble every pivot point on the frame, taking our time to carefully clean and inspect every bit of the hardware including all bearings, bolts, spacers and bushings. We also take this opportunity to very carefully clean and inspect the frame for stress cracks. Everything goes back together fresh It’s a good idea to replace all bearings and hardware if you find one bad piece since these parts usually wear out around the same time.

*Dual suspension frame linkage overhaul can be done as a stand alone service for $250.
